CERAMIC

Siraj is one of the most unique artists of his generation. His expression on ceramic discerns a reality which remains deeply yet unavoidably invisible. His unique form of expression constantly evolves his perception of things and reveals his true, exclusive artistry. With a profound meaning attached to each of his art-form, Siraj leaves the interpretation of his work to the minds of the observers.

PAINTING

Art is like a vivid dream that inspires new ideas and meets the spiritual need of the viewer. Siraj is always chasing his dreams through his paintings, the medium which in itself acts as a gateway for thoughts and a catalyst for creativity. His interest in the effects of colours, texture, and emotional response offers a contemporary panorama.

SCULPTURES

Siraj's sculptures are similar to the shapes forged in nature that conform to no preknown shapes. The pieces serve as a reminder to the observers that even the earth can be adorned and celebrated. The abstract shapes of Siraj's sculptures create a prospect for his art to be interpreted infinitely and appreciated endlessly by the observers.

TEXTILE

Siraj grew up in a creative household where he developed an innate streak to explore his creativity in textiles and other mediums. His textile work reflects the passion and vigor of his character. Influenced by his ability to capture the essence of a place and represent it in engaging details, each piece designed by Siraj is undoubtedly unique.

GRAPHICS

The graphic prints of Siraj Saxena are a logical follow-up of his longtime great creative work, comprising drawings, sculptures, paintings, and fabrics.

DRAWING

When you begin to sketch or draw, natural interest and curiosity act as a compass. Siraj’s cognizance of abstract art breathes life into his drawings and sketches. While he enjoys working in his studio, Siraj believes in exploring the world and other art forms for inspiration. New settings and vistas help him explore his soul and inspire new ideas.

Poet and Art Critic

Siraj Saxena’s art, in a world divided and fragmented, tortured and violently pushed  around, surrounded with kitsch and cruelty, is an art of affirmation. An art which hopefully leads to tranquility and contemplation. The great Serbian poet Vosko Popa said “In the sky of your words, the sun does not set.” Siraj is forever looking for such a sky. His art could somewhat audaciously asset, again Popa’s words “we will teach this darkness to shine.” Art anywhere cannot possibly aspire for more!
